HENRY.

I'm going to visit Henry David Thoreau, and Ralph Waldo Emerson's gravestones before I die.

You're so Irritating and Likable.

I've been waiting so long for this sweet sweet 7" pair of Roc-it Dog shears.
And I bought them today.

Also, I gave my longboard, basketball, and soccer ball a breathe of fresh air today. It was so nice outside, I just had to play.
In other news...I wrote lyrics. I feel weird about it, it's my first odd attempt-but it seriously felt so easy. It turned out better than I expected too, I suprisingly would prefer listening to my own stuff on the radio rather than some artists out there. It'd be so tight to have your own radio station and not tell anyone about it. Just play good music, advertise for random causes, improvise a comedy hour, a health hour...a political debate...a sports hour-make that a sports minute actually...maybe read some stories...make up stories...host contests to win stuff... art tips...recipe of the day-but none of this boring housewife recipe crap...they'll be sweet recipes like how to make playdo, fireworks(not bombs don't worry), or rap songs....also there would be a 'music artist of the day', 'neighborhood child of the day', etc...and then back to good music. Hey, I may or may not make this happen at a radio station near you. Tune in.

Tu es comme le soleil. Tu laisse une marke indelible dans mes yeux quand je te regarde.

Trust Me Darling

These past few weeks have been life changing. Musana Jewelry is up and running, I received a package last week from one of the women in Uganda with some of the earrings she made and a small note that said "Thank You". I could have flown I was so happy.
I love the people I work with, sososo fun. Cynthia and I saw Alice In Wonderland 3D. Oh Johnny Depp. I want to meet that man-in fact I'm going to make sure I do meet him before I die.

And I've been reading a lot of Ralph Waldo Emerson and I have so many questions for him. Emerson on Transcendentalism is by far one of the most brilliant books I have ever read. It brings intellect to a completely different level.
Which has also stemmed religious questioning a lot lately, which is a good thing I know. There's so much out there to learn still. Especially in Provo Utah, surprisingly.

And here's a song that ultimately sums up the past couple of weeks. I can't stop listening to this album by the Broken Bells.
[Broken Bells is an American indie rock band featuring artist–producer Danger Mouse (billed by his real name, Brian Burton) and James Mercer, the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Portland indie rock band The Shins. The project was first announced on Tuesday, September 29, 2009.[1]Danish music festival in 2004 and finding they were fans of each other's work. Mercer and Burton began recording together in secret at Burton's Los Angeles-based studio in March 2008 and describe their material as "melodic, but experimental, too".
On December 14 the band released their first email update, in which a binary-coded message stating 'The High Road is hard to find' was displayed, offering a link to the band's web page, now with a new color scheme, for 'further details'. On the morning of December 21, the band informed fans in an e-mail message of the release of their debut single "The High Road", which was made available as a free download on their official site.[3] The self-titled debut album was released in the U.S. and Canada on March 9, 2010.]

We Own the Sky

Sunday, March 7, 2010

Last night was a glimpse at a different lifestyle. I loved it. Reminded me of old times sleeping in my clothes on Candace's tramp, wrestling, adventures, orange fights, rafting down the canals, climbing trees, chasing sheep, Zelda, building forts, waking up in the morning with my shoes still on and then doing it all over again.
